smoking may increase the risk of\u00a0<b>gastric mucosal injury and potential gastric leakage related to acid irritation<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tramadol users (even without addiction)<\/b>\u00a0because of the significantly increased risk of\u00a0<b>serious postoperative complications<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Patients with ventriculoperitoneal shunts<\/b>\u00a0used to treat increased intracranial pressure, as bariatric surgery may increase the risk of\u00a0<b>infection involving the shunt system<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Individuals who are unwilling or unable to adhere to the required postoperative dietary and medical regimen<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Patients with severe gastroesophageal reflux disease who strongly prefer sleeve gastrectomy and refuse gastric bypass<\/b>, especially those with a strong preference for high-sugar diets.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Patients with lower body weight<\/b>, particularly those with a\u00a0<b>Body Mass Index (BMI) below 30<\/b>\u00a0without significant obesity-related comorbidities.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Patients with elephantiasis or lymphatic obstruction disorders<\/b>.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Patients with uncontrolled psychiatric disorders<\/b>\u00a0who are not under regular psychiatric
